From Nobody, to Sorry, Sorry, to Nobody three other times, and a Gokusen, yesterday's SYF was epic. So this is the first, and most successful rendition of a mash-up between WG's Nobody and SJ's Sorry, Sorry. Apparently the Halyu Wave struck too soon as two or three other bands performed their pieces of Nobody. By then, everyone wanted to choke themselves of listening to too many versions of the same song. Then in the last quarter, we heard something faintly familiar- or at least I did; that fight song during Gokusen. Epic wtf. PYMB did a rendition of a Glee song that I cannot remember the name to, and of course, as a member of Ping Yi Secondary School, I am proud to say that, even if they did not win a Gold, they'd set up a performance to die for anyway. On our part, it was like a Paramore and Green Day joint-concert. If we weren't cheering, we were clapping, if we weren't clapping, we were shouting Wahjing's name. After the months of practice, Ping Yi Marching Band deserved their prize. For the batch of students leaving this year, they definitely left with a bang. Right, Atikah? Is still searching for a video of PYMB's performance. PYMB; GOLD |
