okayokayy .
Hallo ! Okay, just got back from TM just now.
Went to volunteer for the SAVE THE ANIMALS Acres Foundation.
The only foundation in Singapore that is going against cruelty to Animals.
Hahs, free advertising, eh?
Anyways, me, Sudiana and Siti got to take over the Bear Bile booth.
It stages a bear in a cage with a hole in its stomach. Pictures will be up.
It's really really pitiful since there's the recordings of the real bear being tortured inside the robotic bear. Really really pitiful.
Okay, so today really proved me wrong.
I thought Singapore could care less about all these Wild Life services and such.
But the bear itself got alot of people coming up to it.
Seriously, Singaporeans, well done in showing your support against Wild Life cruelty!
And I brushed up on my promoting skills too.
There was this guy, Nicholas, who is from RJC, he talked so damned pro.
Seriously, I came up to him and said, "Eh, teach us talk like you lah."
He was so modest about it.
Bahhs.
So anyways, had to look chim and act as if we know what's going on with the animals.
Actually, I did.
Most of what I'll say is, "Bears are treated like this in mostly China and Vietnam. They just poke the stomach open with anything they have without anticeptics. So the bear really does suffer. And the bear won't die immediately. It will live for another ten to fifteen years, in a cage that is so small, they practically hurt themselves, before they finally die. So if you would like to support us, you can sign our petitions or donate. Or do both. If you don't want to do any of that, you could tell your friends, blog about this a raise awareness of what is happening."
Then I'll smile.
Long speech, isn't it? Tired as hell.
And mostly, the kids are the one who come up to us, then the parents would come up and ask what this is all about.
There is where we explain.
And not only Singaporeans are the one who care, you can see on our petition list that many others from Cambodia, Philipines, Thailand, coming in and donating and signing.
It was so sweet. Salute to all the ones who cared.
Even if they didn't donate, they did still come up and ask and actually cared about this.
You're so sweet.
And most of the mat mats actually come up to us and stared at the bear.
Some were of course making fun of it but in the end, they donated.
And we still had to explain to them about what is happening.
I actually put on a very pittiful voice so at least they would go, "aww"
They did.
One guy did, he was superDUPER sweet.
Normal mat but still had a heart.
Even asked his friend to donate.
THANKS !

okay, explained wayyyyy too much.
Actually wanted to stay to watch a movie but mum didn't allow.
Life screws.
Ending this. Pictures will be up.
